About

Lee Cahill is a Certified Professional Dog Trainer (CPDT-KA) and professional member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers (APDT). Her services are insured and bonded by the Pet Sitters Association.

Lee focuses on using positive reinforcement techniques that have been scientifically proven to be more effective than old-school intimidation techniques, which can sometimes lead to worsening or creating fear-based aggression issues. She uses a variety of techniques knowing that not all dogs respond the same and that the most effective training is the one pet parents enjoy doing with their pets.

She has also wrangled dogs, cats, and other small pets for feature films, shorts, and music videos.

Lee began her work with dogs volunteering in animal shelters for eight years. She now focuses on training dogs with a mission to reduce the number of pets surrendered to shelters. Now, in her eighth year of training, she has logged over a thousand hours of helping pet parents form stronger, more respectful, bonds through reward-based training.

Private Training

If you have a dog that needs extra attention from the trainer, does not get along with others, or who's issues only present themselves in the home, private training may be right for you! Private training is also a great option if you only need to work on one or two issues or if your schedule does not permit a group class that meets once a week for five weeks. Private sessions take place at your home.

***Due to the pandemic in-home training is not available. But 1 on 1 training is available outdoors in your nearby park!
